Securing the Legacy of Family Farms
At Farmland Stocks we are reviving the American dream. The United States was built on the dream of land ownership. In the 18th and 19th century, individuals braved uncertainty and risk to come to this country, not to own a house, but to own land and create a legacy for their families.
Land was not just a means of survival; it was an opportunity to build something enduring. But over time, the dream of land ownership has become impossible, particularly when it comes to farmland.
Time is running out. While you read this paragraph an acre of farmland was taken out of production.
It is never coming back. If you care about our shared American Heritage, sign up to learn how to protect family farms.
Every 15 seconds we lose an acre of American Farmland forever.
Farm Succession Planning and Land Ownership.
Farmers
We partner with farmers to help you buy out your landlord. When your landlord calls you because they want to sell the farm, or the heirs decide to take their cash rather than keep the farm, we can help. We talk to the landowner to see what their needs are, and then help you buy the farm through an LLC. Our goal is to keep some of the heirs in the farm, or have your landlord keep a portion of their investment in the ground.
Landowners
Do you have a farm that has a low basis? Maybe you need some cash, but do not want to take the full tax hit of selling the entire farm? We are here to help. If you work with Farmland Stock Exchange we will help you keep a portion of the farm your family has bled for, while also taking some cash off the table. Reach out today to see how.
Bankers
Are your clients coming to you because a farm they are currently renting is selling? We should be your first call. We can help your clients keep their balance sheet strong by lowering the cash they need to purchase a farm, while getting you an even better LTV than you would normally be able to swing.
About Us
At Farmland Stock Exchange, our mission is simple: We are committed to supporting farmers and safeguarding the stability of American agriculture. We know that with a looming transition of 70% of farmland, succession planning and ensuring that transfer is beneficial for the next generation is key.
We focus on helping family farms transition their home farm, and then secure the acres they are renting from others. Foreign and institutional money are flowing into the asset, and running up prices.
Meanwhile, farmers are struggling to expand their operations and secure funding without resorting to selling their land, a common obstacle that can lead to missed growth opportunities.
We believe in sitting down at the farm shop or at the dinner table and figuring out what is best for the entire family. No one’s situation is the same, and our business is built to be flexible with you. Reach out today and we can help you get all the information you need to secure your farm for the next generation.
Secure Your Farm’s Future
Whether you are a farmer facing a land purchase, a landowner considering your legacy, or a banker seeking a way to help your farmers get a loan that keeps their business secure, Farmland Stock Exchange offers tailored solutions.
Farmland is a unique asset class, and each farm is as unique as each family that farms it. The asset of the ground typically continues to rise for several key reasons:
Increasing Productivity: Advancements in agricultural technology are driving productivity, allowing farmers to produce more crops on less land. This makes farmland increasingly valuable year over year.
Rising Global Demand for Food: With the global population steadily growing, the demand for food—and therefore farmland—is only going to increase. Farmland offers investors a way to tap into this essential and expanding market.
Scarcity of Land: Urban development, climate change, and other factors are steadily reducing the amount of farmland available. As supply decreases and demand rises, the value of farmland continues to appreciate. Currently we lose an acre of farmland every 15 seconds.
Call us today so we can help you decide what to do with one the most valuable asset classes in the world. American Farmland.

How do we work with family farms?
Initial Call
This is where we sit down with the farmer or landowner to decide where we can best help. Are they a landlord that needs to sell a portion of their farm to their farmer? Or are they a farmer looking to secure the acres they currently rent?
Next Steps
From our initial meeting we send more information and find the farm that our future client needs help with. We send them an unofficial market analysis so they know what the rough value of the asset is.
Decision Time
We work with the attorneys and accountants on both sides to help them understand what we are offering through Farmland Stock Exchange. This is where we all decide what is best for each side.
LLC Creation
At this point when we move forward we set up an LLC to transfer the farm into, and work with the landowner to take some money off the table and transition to a crop share.
Protect Farmland and
Preserve the American Dream
At Farmland Stock Exchange, we believe that the future of farmland ownership lies in shared opportunities. We envision a world where farmers can grow their businesses without selling off their legacy, and where investors of all sizes can participate in one of the world’s most stable and valuable asset classes. We believe that a strong farmer makes a strong country, and that to achieve that we have to work hand in hand with farmers, investors, and politicians to ensure long term success.
Whether you're a farmer looking to expand your operation or a landowner seeking a way to take some cash off the table while preserving your family’s legacy, we're here to help you. Together, we can build a future where farmland is accessible to all, and where the American Dream of land ownership is revitalized for generations to come.

Farmers work tirelessly to grow their businesses, but securing capital to expand or improve their operations is often a major hurdle. Traditionally, farmers have had to sell their land or take on significant debt to access capital.
Today, Farmers rent a lot of the land they are farming, and they need every acre to make a living in a low margin business. When a landlord needs to sell they have two options. Buy the farm for 40% down, on a multi-million dollar piece of land. Or they can bring in a fund to purchase the whole farm, and continue renting. At Farmland Stock Exchange, we offer a different approach.
Farmers bring us the farm they want to purchase
They pay 10% down
Our lending partners underwrite a mortgage for 41%
We bring investor capital for 49%
This allows farmers to maintain ownership of their land while allowing investors to partner in the growth.
